Nay Toe, (born Nay Lin Aung on September 9, 1981) is a Burmese actor and comedian with the Burmese traditional dance troupe Htawara Hninzi. He won a Myanmar Academy Award for Best Actor three times: in 2011 with "Moe Nya Einmet Myu", in 2016 with "Nat Khat Mhar Tae Tite Pwal", and in 2018 with "Tar Tay Gyi". He also won Star Award for Bridge of Clouds film in 2019. Nay Toe was born on 9 September 1981 to ethnic Rakhine parents, Than Myaing and her husband Aung Than. He is born in Taw Hthu Village in Manaung Township,Cheduba Island. Being the second-born child in the family, Nay Toe has an elder brother as well as a younger brother and a younger sister. His younger brother Min Thway is also an actor. Since then he has gained fame and recognition as a very outstanding performer not only on the movie screen but also on the stage. Another remarkable event in 2011 was winning the Academy trophy in Moe Nya Einmet Myu movie as the best leading actor. It was chosen out of 16 films screened in the country in 2009. His role in the movie was said to be intricate as the character he portrayed in the movie was suffering from multiple personality disorder and displayed three different personalities throughout the story.
Nay Toe is introverted, reserved and reticent in nature; so he was sometimes being mistaken by people as being arrogant. He pointed out that fact in his book and made apology for what he may be seemed in some situations, whereas he assured that he has pleasant, warm and friendly towards anybody. He has won 6 Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards throughout his careerr, including in 1991, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2006, second only to Nyunt Win. Yan Aung was born Hla Htun in Rangoon, Burma (now Yangon, Myanmar) to parents Tin Maung and Thein Thein. Htun Eeindra Bo also (Htun Aeindra Bo; born Mi Mi Khine on 1 May 1966) is a three-time Myanmar Academy Award winning actress and singer. The Mogok native began her film career in 1991, and has achieved fame and success as an actor and singer. Now in her 50s, she is still a household name in Myanmar and continues to make films and performs in concerts. Htun Eeindra Bo was on 1 May 1966 in Mogok, Myanmar to Khin Mya Mya and Khin Maung Thein. She was the middle child of three; she had an elder brother and a younger sister, Thet Thet Khine, a House of Representatives MP. Her family was in the jewellery business. Mi Mi Khine was interested entertainment since she was little. She was singing Burmese songs at age four and by age eleven, she began to sing at local concerts. She graduated with a law (LLB) degree. She is married to Aung Minn Tun, and they have a son.
Thet Mon Myint (born Zung Cer Mawi; on 23 July 1982), also known as Chit Thet, is a two-time Myanmar Academy Award winning actress and advertising model in Myanmar. She is a well-known actress in Burmese Entertainment Industry. Thet Mon Myint is an ethnic Chin from Chin State in western Myanmar. Thet Mon Myint was born on 23 July 1982 in Falam by Myint U and Daw Myaing, of Chin descent. She went to B.E.H.S(1) Falam, Chin State and graduated from Yangon Institute of Economics. Starting from early 2000s, Thet Mon Myint began her career as a model in music videos of famous singers in Myanmar. In 2003, 2004, and 2005, she became a household name for her cute and innocent acting in Television Commercials. She was replaced as the Queen of TVC after the famous actress, Htet Htet Moe Oo. Then, she rose into fame of the top actress in 2009. From 2010, she established herself as one of the leading actresses in Myanmar. Nowadays, she is considered as one of the most popular and talented actresses of Burmese film industry. At the time of her acting debut, Thet Mon Myint faces many difficulty in communicating with cast members because she has Chin accent when she speaks Burmese. But she has now overcome this problem. She has received two Myanmar Academy Awards for Best Actress for her role in the movies Adam, Eve and Datsa for 2012 and My Lovely Hate for 2016. Thet Mon Myint married to Tsit Naing in 2014. On 12 April 2015, she gave birth to a son, Arr Chit and to a daughter, La Won May (San Mawi) on 13 December 2016.
